Such a wonderful hidden gem! This came recommended by a friend after we were in the area and wanted ice cream after dinner. Staff was very friendly and kindly explained the menu to us. They have 12 ice cream flavors, and rotate the bottom 4 flavors of their list. I got the dough melt with Matcha Ice cream…it was heavenly. Ambiance was nice, plenty of seating and perfect way to end our Friday Date Night. Highly recommend, will be back!

Super cute location! They’re open until 1am!!! Cashier was super patient with us, it was our first time, he let us sample a few different ice cream flavors. Our favorite was strawberry and chocolate, dulce de leche was great too. We got the ice cream sandwich (dough melt) it was amaziiiiing! Great experience thanks Novel!

my girlfriend and i are long time fans of novel, were patiently waiting for the location in old town peoria to open up but we do not mind the drive downtown just for them! my usual is a double scoop cone with cookie monster on the bottom and peanut butter wasted on the top (so delicious but the dulce de leche is 🔥) and i know that the cookie monster leaves blue all over your mouth, which i have no problem with, it’s like a medal 🥇, but the cashier last night actually warned me about the coloring leaving stains i was like wowww thank you for telling me no one has ever said that before lol. th
