Chloe Spencer★★★★★

A trendy, well-designed restaurant with an impressive menu, and number of choices. I went overboard picking so many different dishes: I had the tostones, the chachapa, and a vegetarian bowl with plaintains, rice, vegetables, beans, and an arepa. The portion sizes were generous, the food was fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. Now keep in mind this is a TON of food, so I definitely spent a lot of money, but you can have a super affordable meal here for $15-30 easy. This place was on my list of restaurants to visit in Pittsburgh and I am delighted to say that it was my FAVORITE spot ou

I was expecting this place to rock for what they charge but it didnt. $45 for a mediocre meal at best. The empinadas tasted like greasy cornbread. The rice and beans were what any novice cook could accomplish, and the pork was... acceptable at best. If you're a tourist who enjoys blowing your money, go for it. If not, stay away. I love South American food. I really wanted to like this. 😔

We went here based on a recommendation and proximity to our hotel. The prices are a bit of a shock at first, especially when you glance at the prepared masarepas at the counter, but they do not disappoint with the fillings. I thought two arepas + the fried yuca was a spot-on serving for me, but it was more than enough for leftovers later. The staff were super friendly and genuinely interested in what we thought of the food. This place is certainly worth a visit if you are a fan of arepas in a small location in downtown Pittsburgh.

Great Venezuelian place with fresh homemade food. Had the Arepa Pabellon which was a wonderfully flavored shredded beef with beans and avacado served in a soft corn shell. Terrific flavors mixed to perfection. Everything was made fresh and rhe slight wait was well worth it. Lots of options in this casual order at the couter restaurant.
