Stanley Yuan★★★★★Excellent choice of Italian food. Went to Grassa for a lunch with friend. The restaurant is big and bright. Customer order dishes at the counter. Comparing with traditional Italian restaurants, the price is more affordable. Water is self service. We ordered multiple dishes of cabanara, pasta, pork belly macaroni, Caesar salad, canoli. We're very impressed by the food. Fresh ingredients, large portion and delicious. The pork belly was braised tender juicy and full of flavor. The cabanara was well executed with nice pasta texture and creamy sauce. That was an excellent experience. We will def
Welson Liu★★★★★This was my third day in Portland, and I stopped by an Italian spot for lunch. We ordered the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, Carbonara, and Fried Brussels Sprouts. The handmade pasta was excellent, with a great texture and well-balanced flavors at the start. However, as we kept eating, the dishes started to feel a bit heavy and slightly rich. The service was very good and attentive. Overall, a solid meal with well-made dishes, though it can feel a bit rich if you order multiple items.
Jose val★★★★★After being away for awhile from some good Portland food. Grassa really stood out. There handmade pasta is a must try and even better is the service that comes with the meal that Erica provides. I had a late brunch here and man can I say I am impressed. They delivered excellent service with great recommendations. I will make this my go-to lunch!! Thank you Erica
Potato Ocelot★★★★Got the Frito Misto, Lunch Special (spaghetti and meatballs with caesar salad), Pork Belly Mac, and Garlic Bread. Calimari (Frito Misto) was AWESOME. Perfectly seasoned, large tender rings, excellent dipping sauce, and thinly sliced battered and fried whole lemon slices which were an great compliment. 10/10 Spaghetti and meatballs are tasty, very simple light marinara which lets the pasta stand out more contrasting with the stronger intense flavor of the meatball. 9/10 Caesar salad was good flavor with the nice savory hit of anchovies, but would have been a better contrast to the spaghetti
