This is a very neat old house atmosphere. Our server was amazing! We tried a variety of food. The deviled eggs appetizers were unique but tasty. Slightly spicy. The jalapeño burger and republic burger were on point! Juicy thick patties and slightly sweet pickles. The mac and cheese was right up our kids alley with a light creamy/parmesean flavor. We enjoyed a mango cart on tap. The shrimp bowl was a good mix of spice. We enjoyed a hot toddy after dinner.

We’ve been a few times and try to love it but we just don’t. The atmosphere is fun especially in summer…but the food is just ehhh. And IMO just weird. They try so hard to be different and quirky but for us it doesn’t land. Went yesterday and ordered the Mac and cheese. There was so much garlic over it…and honestly just why? I feel like the menu creator doesn’t realize some things don’t go together like that. Garlic in that quantity isn’t a garnish. It didn’t even enhance the taste. It was just there. I thought maybe he got it confused with the noodles but was told that’s how the dish is. I t
