Apsara Restaurant in Providence is a longtime favorite for good reason. Being Southeast Asian myself, I can honestly say their food is spot on—authentic, flavorful, and comforting. The portions are generous and always leave you satisfied. The menu offers a great variety of Cambodian and Thai dishes, and everything we tried was well-seasoned and freshly prepared. Not sure what went wrong we went there for lunch we order the appetizers sampler it was all deep fried except for the beef satay. The soup was really good. The shrimp fried rice was terrible , we also got chicken lemongrass which was also deep fried. Not a big fan of deep fried stuff . probably we did not order the correct stuff

The service was good I just felt like the location of the restaurant was a bit shady though it definitely looked safe, and the meat was deep fried and I personally wasn't a fan, though the vegetable soups and stuff was really good! I'm not sure because maybe it could be authentic but maybe my personal taste just doesn't agree with it but yeah I think the vegetable based platters are very good but besides that I'm not sure.
