You can tell that they really pay attention to detail and make thoughtful choices with their menu. Plus they offer a great space for art in the basement.

Ripley Bassett★★★★★I’ve been coming here since I was a kid (for the food) and later as an adult (for the beer.) It’s always held a special place in my heart. You can really tell the new owners wanted to preserve the spirit of the place. I had the oatmeal cookie beer and it was awesome (and I am snobby about my beer.) The pretzels were so soft and fresh, possibly the best I’ve had. I’m so so glad that a place I love has been preserved. The only downside was that it was so loud, but I personally sort of like loud.
