J N★★★★Came for lunch during a weekday as a party of three. The place was packed, which I wasn’t expecting, but thankfully we didn’t have to wait for a table. Service was decent; the servers were nice but I felt a little rushed especially during the order taking. We ended up getting the pineapple bun with cold butter, the trio combo appetizer, pork katsu with fried rice, char siu noodle soup, and garlic wings. Pineapple bun wasn’t as sweet and fragrant as the ones you get in a bakery but it works well with the butter. Pork katsu with fried rice was delicious— it comes with a sauce that tastes like t
Jea Kim★★★★★Exactly as advertised. Fresh and delicious. Might be my favorite casual Chinese restaurant in the Greater Boston area. I’d been hearing nonstop praise about this new spot, so we stopped by for a weekday lunch around noon. The place was nearly packed, which is something you rarely see even in downtown Boston on a regular weekday. We barely snagged the last available table. Everything we ordered was amazing, and our favorites were the Truffle Shrimp Omelette, Fried Chicken Leg Quarter, and the Beef Chow Fun. Truffle Shrimp Omelette – Intensely aromatic with truffle, but not overwhelming. The
Astrid Bao Bao★★★★★The best Hong Kong style cafe in the area! If you come during peak hour on weekends, expect a short wait! But totally worth it! My fav is their chicken leg with omelet rice.. and the cold butter pineapple Bao is to die for.. all iced beverage are good too. Can hardly go wrong here. Oh and they have huge portion great for sharing!
Angela Truong★★★★★Loved this place the moment we stepped in. It was quite crowded when we first got there but I took it as a great sign. We were seated quickly and the food actually tasted like heaven. Everything was so delectable and is a must try. I’m convinced that there is nothing bad on the menu. I ordered to go the next day because the food was so good and their to go bag is so high quality in which it keeps all of the heat in, showing that they care about the quality of their food even in the comfort of your own home.
