I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this is the best bakery I’ve been to in the US. We had a party of 9 and tried most of the pastries and coffees. Everything was delicious! Nothing was dried out or overly sweet. Perfect balance. Only criticism is too much sauce on the bacon egg and cheese. Staff was very patient and professional with us

100/10! If a place can win you over before you even reach the counter, you know it’s doing something right—and that’s exactly what happened at The Sour. We were in Rapid City celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday and stumbled upon this gem. The smell alone stopped us in our tracks. The woman working was incredibly sweet and kind, the kind of genuine hospitality that makes you feel instantly welcome and like you picked the right place. We picked out a handful of pastries, including the chocolate chip cookies… which didn’t even make it very far before we dug in. Absolutely phenomenal—perfect

Wow this place is amazing! I want to try absolutely everything. Besides all the pastries looking stunning, what we had was all incredibly delicious. Came for the breakfast sandwhiches - that pillowy brioche bun I was dream of, and coffee. My husband is always a cappuccino ordered and I got an iced dirty chai, perfection. We took back the ham and Swiss crossiant (stacked with ham) but they best peppery, flaky taste, as well as the almond and chocolate crossiants. Both phenomenal. I can’t wait to be back, this will now be a go to spot when visiting RC!

Cool place. Very good coffee ☕️ and crosant and cinnamon donuts 🍩. Cool atmosphere. I went twice. Second time it was packed and had guy singing county music live. I'd say it's a little pricey but good pastries and good vibe!
