Shane Miller★★★★Cute Italian bakery and pizzeria. Ordered a cannoli and tiramisu. Cannoli shell was delicious and crisp but the filling was not my favorite. I think the lemon certainly overpowered the filling itself. Pistachio nuts one side and chocolate chips on the other. The lemon taste overpowered the pistachios though. I understand if they are trying to stay true to a Sicilian flavor--having a strong lemon but I think it can still be balanced better. The tiramisu was delicious--if you enjoy a strong espresso taste in it. Would be great with an iced coffee. Overall, they have strong, bold flavors in b
Usawa Andwele★★★I've been meaning to give Doppio Pasticceria a try, so today was the day. I was craving a good pizza...... Definitely NOT amazing pizza. Not even good pizza. The dough is bland and tough. Their pizzas have way too much crust. I spent $27.56 on a mediocre pizza with nasty tough crust. Never again! The pizza had exactly 28 small pieces of sausage for $4. What an expensive joke. Angeli's pizza is 1000% better. Even Molina's Brick Oven Pizza tastes much better. I miss Joe Squared Pizzas so much. Top notch customer service that you would expect for these prices. I definitely liked that patrons
Nick Storz★★★★★As a connoisseur of patisseries, I can confidently say this is the best bakery I have ever been to - excellent in the balance and subtleties of its confections. Doppios pastries use sugar/sweetness to emphasize other flavors (passionfruit, quince, lemon, chestnut) etc, rather than dumping in sugar for a cheap high (sadly the norm in most well branded, influencer hyped bakeries so common in the DMV). I tried 7 of their pastries waiting for a weak link I thought was inevitable - but found each confection a new creative triumph. This baker should be discussed in every circle of fine taste and cul
Amanda Zimmerman★★★★★Had a slice of cheese pizza and a maritozzi. The maritozzi was so delicious! It was huge and I fully anticipated asking for a box on my way out, but it was light and airy that I ate the whole thing! I got there shortly before closing and it was still fresh amd delicious. Definitely a must try! The pizza was good. Crispy bottom, but not obnoxiously so. Tasted like a sourdough crust which since I didnt fully read the menu was a surprising, but pleasant touch. Would like to go back and try the coffee. They had some yummy sounding ones! Also SUPER cute cafe. Ive never been to italy, but I imagine
