Really cool Southern/Cajun restaurant in a strip mall with a great vibe. When we got there we were greeted by folks sitting outside having drinks. Seating is limited. It was apparent the everyone there knew each other. By the time we left we were part of the crowd also. We came back a couple days later and were greeted with welcome back by almost everyone. They have a very good drink selection as well as food menu. The red beans and rice are excellent. The banana pudding is even better. Highly recommend for a "hole in the wall, neighborhood hangout" place that serves great food.

If you’re looking for delicious Cajun food in Rosenberg, Mamie G’s is an absolute must-visit! We stopped by and were blown away by the amazing flavors and quality of the food. We tried the sampler platter, and everything was fantastic! The red beans and rice (my personal favorite) were absolutely perfect—full of flavor and comforting in every bite. I also loved the gumbo and the cheeseburger egg roll, both of which were seasoned to perfection. My first time........ Today is July 25, 2025, and it's awesome. I stopped by on my way, running errands. I was in the mood for paste and shrimp.
