This restaurant is at one of the corners in Old Sacramento. We ordered at the restaurant’s door and there are outdoor seating area on the patio. The service was good and pretty fast. - Indonesian fried chicken: good. The chicken meat was tender and we could taste the spices of marinade in the meat. I wish that they cooked the meat a bit longer so it had crispy skin. - Chicken satay: good. The meat was tender and flavorful. The peanut sauce was good but I wish that it had chunks of peanut. - Lontong sayur: very good. The soup was creamy and flavorful. - Es cendol: good and perfect for a hot da

Came here after visiting the train museum. Food was made to order and came quickly. We ordered the broccoli/chicken with rice plate, teriyaki chow mein, and the nasi goreng. Ingredients looked vibrant and tasted very fresh and light but full of flavor. My 4-year old devoured the teriyaki chow mein and I particularly enjoyed the dish as well.

I enjoyed the Sate Ayam and the lemper. The lemper had a wonderful subtle sweet combo of lemongrass and coconut milk. Not as tight as I’m accustomed to but the flavors are there. The pickled veggies served with the Sate Ayam and rice were crisp and sharply pickled, a nice accent to the milder chicken and rice. I enjoyed the saté and the fact that it wasn’t overcooked and dried out. Friendly and quick service. A wonderful “taste of home.” Enjoyed it and will be back!

I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent visit. We ordered the beef rendang and tahu-isi, and while the presentation was mediocre, the food itself was good and met our expectations. My husband, who is Indonesian, noted that the flavors were decent, though not the best he has had. Regarding the service, I want to commend the woman running the restaurant. She was handling the cooking, serving, and the register all by herself. I gave a five-star rating primarily because of her patience and hard work. As the seating is outdoors and shared with other vendors, the atmosphere is casu
