I love pine. Pine trees, pine needles, pine cones. So as a pine lover, I was very curious to try Third Wheel's vanilla pine latte. It's safe to say that pine is also delicious. It pains me that I do not live in this city, because if I did, Third Wheel Coffee would be my first stop every morning. The pine bud infused syrup makes the latte very aromatic and adds an herbal note that pairs beautifully with the high quality espresso. It's unique. It's perfect. I will be thinking about it everyday until I return. Don't skip their hot chocolate either! They melt down actual chocolate wafers with your milk of choice, and it's a perfect addition to a rainy SF morning.

Art. From the beautiful sketched cup design to the artistic pours of lattes and unique speciality flavor combos. Definitely has regulars and one of the few coffee spots where they care about customer service but also crank out the coffee fast! Not a spot for food (no egg sandwich but has croissants ) Lovely ppl working there and nice spot

My sister called me a few days ago to try to convert me into Christianity (yet again). I blew her off and moved on with life. Today I happened to stop by this cute coffee shop and decided to try a Chai latte. I only drink chai and have been actively looking for the best chai in the city. Well… today I found it. The chai was absolutely perfect. Spiced, rich, milky! not watered down. It got me thinking that if the couple running the joint hadn’t met when they did and chased their dream, I wouldn’t be holding the perfect chai today. God has a plan says my sister. She was right. They were destined to meet so I could enjoy the fruits of their labor. I now have a favorite chai spot and my sister has recruited another soul for Gods kingdom. Thank you third wheel!!

This is a town in which everyone waits in line for stuff and honestly, this town is probably a reason I don’t wait in line for food (different rant). But I got in line for coffee because it was the morning and that is reasonable. I got a cup of coffee easily in the 90th percentile of quality (I don’t bother ranking the top tens), with service and knowledge to match. This folks are clearly true believers. I also bought a bag of beans, that were a great deal and are also of the best I have BUT cost far less than most other beans I buy. What to say? It’s great? Yeah sure, but it also picked up my jaded heart, dusted it off, and revived my hope that people can truly see what is great. Thanks Third Wheel.
