Love this cafe. Love their coffee, and love their food. Sitting in the roofed "outside" area closest to the birds feels like such a power spot. Wait staff are all attentive and sincere. They helped me kindly when I had very specific questions. I've been here 3 times and I've never had a bad dish, but highly recommend the bacon fried rice and any of the omelets. Oh and the coffee!!

I went with my family to Best western plus. Didn’t know about this place, it really was a hidden gem. We all truly enjoyed our brunch. In fact, saturday was coincident , however we made sure to spend our Sunday eating there. Calazar was our waiter, very kind soul. We loved the service the food and the ambiance. My husband and I ate at the Live Oak Café while were staying at the Best Western on the same property. The restaurant interior is bright and chic and, as a bonus, overlooks the hotel pool. Plenty of parking. We had dinner the first night of our stay and loved it so much we went back for breakfast. Everything is fresh, high quality and delicious. If you are in Santa Barbara, be sure to stop by and give them a try. Be sure also to stop and say hello to the cute little finches who live right outside.
