I came here with my girlfriend the other day for the first time excited to try this new place out and immediately it felt as if the staff was just annoyed by the very presence of me and my gf. I dont know if I just caught the staff on a bad day or if its just a santa cruz thing but they seemed annoyed at the idea of even walking into our section to take our orders or pay us any attention. Went in to try their new garlicky cashew cheese fondue off of the vegan menu and was absolutely blown away! I haven't had fondue since going vegan, and this was shockingly close to the real thing (dare I say, better). I ordered it with a loaf of house made gluten free bread which was also wonderful. Their vegan hot chocolates with almond milk were quite delicious, and I was excited to see they have added many vegan dessert options to the menu! The owner came and chatted with us and was very kind and accommodating. I will be back often.
