We had breakfast here while staying at the hotel and were very pleased. The atmosphere is a beautiful old Southwestern design. They also offer a nice patio for outdoor seating, but it was a little too cool out on the day we dined. My breakfast burrito was delicious and served with homemade green and red sauces. Our server was very friendly and our food came quickly.

We visited Luminaria with a group of 12 for dinner. We had a reservation and started by ordering several appetizers to share. However, we weren't offered additional plates or serving utensils, and once we requested them, they took quite a while to arrive. It felt like the staff might have been new or still in training; even though the restaurant wasn't full, there seemed to be some confusion. For instance, a few desserts never made it to the table, and one person in our group didn't receive their main course until we pointed it out to the staff. We ate breakfast two days in a row at Luminaria during our Santa Fe stay earlier this month. The restaurant feels understaffed and missing a good leader during the morning service. The staff are kind, the atmosphere pleasant, and the food appropriately elevated over standard hotel restaurant fare. My pancakes and bacon were good. We arrived at around 9:30 on a Monday to stand at the host stand for several minutes unacknowledged during a time where the restaurant did not appear to have more than 8-10 occupied tables. Not a problem. We were then seated but our coffee order took about 15 minutes
