Freya Bakery & Cafe may look like a little hole-in-the-wall at first, but it’s such a great find. There are a few seats inside and a couple of small tables outside, and it’s located on a quiet street not far from Pike Place Market. The food was excellent — the quiche was perfect and the coffee was super delicious. It’s a wonderful spot to escape the crowds around Pike Place while still enjoying really good baked goods and coffee. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Went to target and asked an employee where we should get some breakfast. They said the best bakery in Seattle was Freya… and I agree!! I had the churro cruffin which was so delicious. Their lattes are great too! A nice place to stop in off the beaten path. My friend was obsessed with their almond croissant. Staff was super friendly. Would recommend to anyone!

I got the breakfast croissant sandwich with avocado. It was delicious! I also got the salted caramel latte decaf with skim milk. Also delicious!! This was a wonderful treat!! However, I recommend splitting the sandwich. It’s quite large.

$27 for two cruffins and two coffees. Total ripoff. I’m a local and I’ve been here many times but I will not be going again. The cruffins used to be THE BOMB! They have been shrinking in size and going up in price. They used to be big and airy and full of custard. Twice now my cruffin was just the opposite. Just a fingernail of custard, not light and airy, and considerably smaller. Inconsistent product. Coffee was horrible. Returned to get a drip to replace my Americano, and it was just as bad. You gamble at this place for a hefty price.
