The place is in a not too good location but the cookie is worth it lol. They have a wide variety of hot food but we came a bit late so it was mostly gone. They have a soup bar, salad bar, sandwich deli, poke bar, etc. They have my favorite garlic sauce in stock here which was my reason for coming (you should try TOOM with the yellow label its at the sauce and yogurt section of the market). Their pastries are always so yummy. My favorite is their Chocolate chip cookie (The Cookie). It was walnuts in it so keep that in mind if you have allergies. I dream about this cookie. Metropolitan Market’s a gem. The produce is always fresh, the deli counter’s got great sandwiches, and their selection of local wines and cheeses is top-notch. It’s a bit pricey, but you’re paying for quality and that neighborhood vibe. The staff’s super friendly, and the bakery section never disappoints. Definitely my go-to for special ingredients or when I just want to treat myself. Five stars.

It’s like a Whole Foods mix with Trader Joe’s interesting products. Though I find the prices on the high side. Meaning I could shop at Pike Place market for the same price and definitely fresher. I was looking for a smoked salmon fillets. They had some fillets. They were more expensive than Pike Place market but not as fresh and not as tasty. Plus, as I was looking through the different assortment of fish there were some that had mould on it, pretty gross.

I love this store. The team members are so nice, professional and caring. The store is absolutely gorgeous. Prepared foods is the best in the buisness, so is bakery meat and WOW, the produce department. I love Metropolitan Market.
