A true Brooklyn gem. This was the very first coffee shop I visited back in 2010 — and I’m honestly impressed they didn’t ruin it with unnecessary updates. The atmosphere remains authentic, warm, and timeless. They’ve expanded with an additional room, but kept the soul of the place intact. If you appreciate Slavic cuisine, you’ll feel right at home here. And the syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes)-🤤

A cozy place with its own atmosphere, more like a diner than a coffee shop, but the coffee here is pretty good. I ordered syrniki, the portion is small, but they look and taste great. They also brought them out hot, which made them twice as delicious. On the downside, I had to wait about 20–25 minutes for them. Service was also very good, attentive employees

Coffee shop looked good from outside but not the best.Caramel latte was unimpressive and bland. Service was ok. Very narrow area at the register when trying to pay and leave. Flies around the pastries in December is nasty. Avoid this place as it doesn’t seem sanitary and the coffee is nothing special

It was my second time there and would be the LAST❗❗ SERVICE IT IS ABSOLUTELY POOR👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 IT LOOKS LIKE THE EMPLOYEES DON'T WANNA BE BOTHERED BY THE CUSTOMERS.... THERE WAS 3 OR 4 CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF ME.. AND A GUY SHARE WITH ME THAT HE WAS THERE 20 TO 25MNTS ... WAITIN🙈🙈🙈🙈 THEY TAKE FOR EVER TO TAKE THE NEXT CUSTOMER .... AND DON'T REALLY WANT TO HELP IF YOU DON'T SPEAK RUSSIAN 🤔 nice place but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ❗❗❗🤷🏻‍♀️
