Initially came to the Silver Spring area for brunch to try the restaurant next door but my family was not happy with the price of the preset, bottomless menu with no options for à la carte so we went next door to Matchbox (while waiting for our party to arrive, 3-4 other families and couples also came in and felt the same and went over to Matchbox instead). Although Matchbox also had a preset all you can eat menu, they offered a much better variety to choose from, which was perfect for our large group, and the price was so much better than what we received from the place next door. We had dinner at this location and the service was excellent. One of the food entree was delayed and I had to wait for almost 20 min but the manager was nice and waived the entree costs. The Alfredo pasta and Mac & Cheese was delicious. However, the margarita pizza and fried chicken was okay. Overall, a good place for dinner.

My friends brought he here for my birthday and we did the all you can eat and drink. The food was delicious! The portions were huge though! Definitely worth the money. I could barely eat the two different plates I wanted to try. The service was amazing as well. Miriam was very attentive and sweet. We will definitely be coming back!

I had an amazing experience at Matchbox! Amayah was an exceptional bartender and a great server. She was friendly, attentive, professional, and made sure everything was perfect. Honestly, she is the reason I would return to Matchbox. The whole staff was great, but Amayah really stood out. Highly recommend!
