I absolutely love Chef Aes in downtown Spartanburg. It’s such a cute Asian fusion bistro with an amazing atmosphere, especially if you like sitting outside and enjoying your food. My go to order is the vegetarian curry bowl with a Thai tea and a slice of her house made cheesecake. Everything is always fresh, full of flavor, and honestly just beautiful when it comes out. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the taste and presentation. It’s conveniently located right by the Amtrak station, and while parking can be hit or miss downtown, there is a small lot nearby which makes it pretty man

My husband, our family, and I recently went to eat at Chef AE’s, and the experience was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate my husband, who has ALS and cannot eat hard foods. She kindly put out a ramp for him so he could comfortably get inside, and her compassion and customer service truly touched our hearts. Not only was the food delicious, but she also specially prepared my husband’s meal so soft that he was able to drink it through a straw.
