So, my husband won’t take the the time to do this BUT….i was hospitalized on a clear diet(meaning for 3 days I only got jello and chicken broth). …the ONLY thing I wanted was 3 tacos and a big sprite for my first meal in days. He went in with my specific order. It was this: Tacos. 2 chicken 1 pastor. Brown rice, black beans, hot salsa, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and fresh salsa on the side. I had a positive experience overall at Chipotle Mexican Grill in Springfield. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with the quality I've come to expect. What stood out most was the dedication and hard work of the staff, who remained professional and focused while managing a very busy shift. The ONLY thing that saved this store from 30+ negative reviews today was the young man who came in around 615! He had urgency to work and was very sweet about it. There was a HUGE line, and he had a great attitude and busted out over 20 orders in less than 15 minutes. Which I was there for 20 minutes before he got there and only 4 people had moved in line. 4 orders in 20 minutes compared to over 20 in 15 minutes. He did his job effortlessly under pressure. Usually we have a great experience with our food. We ordered pickup today and it was very lacking. Everything was half filled and thats being generous. The kids meal had 2 spoons worth of beans. The only thing that was actually portioned properly was the queso.
