RioPaulo★★★★★The Taipei street taco was outstanding — the grilled dark meat chicken paired perfectly with the lightly fried scallion pancake, and every bite felt thoughtful and balanced. The cloud matcha was not only delicious but beautifully presented. More than anything, the whole place genuinely felt like stumbling into a modern side-street café in Taiwan. Great atmosphere, warm service, and a clean, contemporary aesthetic that made me want to stay awhile. Already looking forward to my next trip to West Philly so I can work through the rest of the menu.
Jeremy Wang★★★★★Authentic Taiwanese flavors and drinks brought to UCity. The popcorn chicken with monster (garlic & spicy) is my favorite and definitely reminds me of Taiwan street food. My go to drink is either the Lemon Green Tea with Lychee or the Jin’s Rose. They have seasonal dinner plates and so far my favorite (and very macro friendly) is the BBQ Sesame bento box. I look forward to new menu items they come up with throughout the year. Great job Lulu Cafe for bringing a little piece of Taiwan to UCity!
Harvey★★★★★Really enjoyed this place. The food was tasty and authentic, and the vibe was great. It’s an awesome spot for students to hang out and spend some time
maggiexning★★★★★Cute little Taiwanese cafe in University city that I checked out with my toddler. As a Taiwanese Canadian mom visiting Philly, I was genuinely surprised that this hidden gem was located close to where I was staying and easy to get to. The latte I ordered was 10/10 and the spicy popcorn chicken was delicious. When we got there before noon, we were one of the few that were there, so I find the atmosphere very relaxing and peaceful. Because there aren't any ramps for the stroller, I had to carry my stroller 3 steps up into the shop, but when I asked the staff to help me open the door upon leaving
