Chicken Rico in Waldorf gets a solid 4 stars from me. The food is good, the atmosphere is casual and fast-casual, and the charcoal grilled chicken is clearly the specialty. The only real downside is the price, which feels a bit high for chicken at $28.00. It’s good, but not six times better than a rotisserie chicken from Costco, so the value is where it loses a little ground. Still, the quality is there, and the lomo salteado is also very good. Overall, this is a place I’d recommend if you want flavorful chicken in a relaxed setting and don’t mind paying a bit more for it.

Chicken Rico in Waldorf is a solid choice for Peruvian rotisserie. The rotisserie chicken is delicious, juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with that classic smoky char. The spinach and potatoes side is a standout, seasoned well and the potatoes are tender. The fried yucca is delicious too, crispy on the outside and soft inside, great with their yellow or green sauce. Service is very fast, even when they’re busy. SO GOOD! I had the Ribs and Chicken for the first time and I'll definitely be getting them again. Along with the spinach and vegetables, I had enough food for at least two meals. The staff was friendly and welcoming upon entering. The service was quick at the counter. And the portions were more than I expected. If you're in the area and looking for rotisserie chicken with excellent flavor, look no further than Chicken Rico.
