Mayo & Ketchup completely blew me away. The flavor in every dish was bold, fresh, and honestly way better than I expected when I first walked in. What really stood out were the vegetarian and vegan options — not just “add-ons,” but real dishes with intention and great taste. It’s the kind of spot where you can bring anybody and they’ll find something fire to eat. The restaurant itself is extremely clean, well-kept, and has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. Had a great night out at Mayo Ketchup with my friend JR from Jr’s Market—honestly, the unofficial mayor of St. Louis. He knows everyone, and everyone knows him, so when he says a place is worth going to, you listen. He brought me in to meet his friend Brad, and right away the place made an impression. Mayo Ketchup is a Latin American spot pulling flavors from Colombian, Venezuelan, and Peruvian cuisine, and it shows in a really authentic, well-rounded menu. My daughters and my granddaughter had a great experience at Mayo Ketchup by Plaintain Girl. The food and service were amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful. The owner was in the restaurant, stopped by to say hello, and offered my granddaughter toys from their toy box. Additionally, this was our last dinner experience before my youngest returned to college after her Winter break. This made our experience extra special having the owner stop by to say hello and ask us about our experience.
