So I am a Italian Beef super fan. It has been many years since I had Novi's Italian Beef, I wanted to try it again and give it another chance. The Beefs are ok, the meat was not tender and on the thicker side. Taste is ok, a bit spicy, it is a little similar to Portillo's in taste. Definitely not a top contender for best Italian Beef in my opinion. The place is no frill hole in the wall, its a basic spot in regards to ambiance and decor. Pricing is an ok value, I feel it is reasonable for what you get. Service is good, typical Beef stand expectations.

I had Novi's Beef for dinner last night and it was AMAZING! It was a but pricey to be honest though. I paid $20.65 for the Italian beef and sausage combo with large fries and a drink yet to be fair the portions were big and it had LOTS of flavor and I love their homemade giardiniera! The owner was super cool too and jokingly told me to say something nice when he saw me take the pic! LOL I haven't been here in years and would definitely come back again!

This is an excellent italian beef, one of the best in all of Chicagoland!!! The hot peppers is reminiscent of Al’s Beef, lots of red chili flakes in the mix!! A definite 4.5⭐️s!!

I had to fly to and from my home in DC to Chicago for a funeral. It was a quick flight and same day return Of course, I made the obligatory side trip for an Italian Beef at Novi's. It did not disappoint! I had mine the way I've had it since I was a little boy, Wet I poured giardinera pour all over it. Of course.I had homemade fries in a root beer but what I wouldn't I!
