Service explained the process nicely but it was still out of this world for my friend who had never been to Tokyo Pot. The food portions were plentiful (but note if you go vegetarian you need to ask for extra tofu). The stews and sauces were yummy. The only thing I miss from the old TP was the mismatched assortment of wooden bowls, wooden spoons, big tin ladles. Look, I’ve eaten a lot of meals in my life.... some good, some questionable, some that tasted like the 90s looked but the prime rib setup at Tokyo Pot? That thing hit like a surprise Pearl Jam reunion tour. The whole experience felt like the universe saying, “Hey champ, you’ve survived dial‑up internet, Blockbuster late fees, and you deserve this.”
