Came in on a Friday night and loved it. We had dinner and it was my first time trying Haitian food. Wanted to try oxtail lasagna but they were out. The rum punch was punching. Live music Friday and Saturday nights. They close at 3am, which is good. Other night there is karaoke, ladies night ect. The bathroom was brightly decorated and made the perfect background for a selfie. There is plenty parking available.

After seeing a few reviews we decided to give Spice House a try! The food, ambiance and customer service was top tier. For appetizers we had the Brussels sprouts, entree was braised oxtails with rice and peas, sautéed cabbage/broccoli and a side of plantains. Everything was flavorful and delicious, the oxtail was tender and falling off the bone, the veggies were seasoned and buttery!! I’ll rate the Food 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Customer service 10/10 Drink 7/10 I didn’t like the fruit punch! I would definitely recommend dining here!

I ate here last night, the black rice stir fry and I ordered rasta pasta add shrimp, unfortunately, I was overcharged for my food and received the wrong food, when I did get my food, the black rice, and let me mention, I have got this one time before over a year ago and it was amazing, however last night It was so nasty & mushy!. I could not even eat it. The rice was mushy & kinda funky. The vegetables were not fresh. I could barely chew through the broccoli. While in town we visited the Spice House off of recommendation from a local friend and ‘BY GOLLY’ when I tell you it was hands down the BEST experience all around!! Lexie, our waitress, was so patient and attentive to our requests. I didn’t get the bartenders name, but she concocted my drink request perfectly! The manager, beautiful sweetheart Ruthy’s energy and vibe was unmatched!!! From the moment we walked in…though a little uncertain of what to expect….everyone was so quick to great us and seat us!
