A nice restaurant in sunnywale downtown. We had delicious shrimp creep, red curry and shrimp with sticky rice and jasmine rice. Food was fresh, tasty, served hot. Price and quantity ratio is not met. Can improve in serving the quantity of food.

This restaurant in Sunnyvale downtown has clearly stood the test of time. We dropped in a couple of weeks ago for Saturday lunch and had a pretty good meal. The service was quick and the outdoor seating was comfortable. We were with another family who ordered only vegetarian dishes, and they were happy too. We tried the Veggie appetizer platter, the Roti Prata, the Crab Fried Rice, and the Pad Kee Mao. The roti prata was a minor disappointment since it tasted more like the frozen kind than something made fresh, but everything else was tasty and served hot. The crab fried rice was excellent.

Had a good lunch at Siam Taste the other day. I don’t recall if there was a lunch special menu but the two of us ended up getting three dishes ala carte. Spring rolls with shrimp as appetizers. Man these were plump and big! Comes with six pieces and dipping sauce. Pretty good, especially if you like fresh mint leaves flavor. Next dish was Penang curry I believe. Or some kind of curry anyway. Tasty sauce but could have used a bit more chicken. Also a little thick for me. And it wasn’t served hot enough (temperature, not spice).
