TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We came in as a family of 4 with 2 toddlers. The server was new and should probably have not been taking orders by herself since she was still "taking tests" from a work laptop on the table right next to us. She took my order wrong and brought me a fried chicken sandwich instead of a grilled sandwich. The "manager" was the one that brought out our food and when I brought it to his attention (before even touching the plate) he became visibly upset. Food was great! Hostess sat us down. Barely able to look through the menu before server asked if we were ready to order. We asked if we could have a few more minutes and the server said ok. She didn't return for 25 minutes. May have been only 6 customers they were not busy at all. 3 or 4 servers occasionally bring in the orders of the chosen few. Walked up to the bar and told the bartender that we were ready to order. She got all huffy saying she is not my server. Maybe everybody was having a bad day or something but we won't be returning here.

The food was actually fantastic. The cooks really know their jobs. Probably best food I've had at a chain restaurant. The service was accurately horrible though. The host made us wait for 15 minutes on a free table while there was 14 free tables open and clean. Our server was the worst though. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks, even to get our water, then she brought our appetizer out first, forgot the sauces, and we still had nothing to drink. It was our first time eating at this Applebee’s l - when we walked ugly, it wasn’t very busy at all yet we stood and waited to be seated for about 5 minutes when we were just about to leave, someone finally came out. Definitely glad I brought a jacket because it was freezing cold and even my husband who’s never cold, was cold. It also took about 8 minutes for anyone to wait on us, but our waitress was very kind. Husband had the fiesta lime chicken with fries. Chicken was DRY, the “crunchy “ wonton strips were soggy strips, and fries were cold. I ordered the pick three apps & 3 dipping sauces,
