I’m pretty late to Alfred’s Cafe but better late than never, I always knew of this place, drove by it most of my life but never actually started going there until recently. This has to be one of the best places for a good breakfast, the serving size and food quality is fantastic and I believe it’s on par with their prices, we received our meals fast even on a busy day. There isn’t a lot of good places to get breakfast around Tacoma anymore but this place is great. Small little restaurant and bar. Has a very old, "been here a long time" vibe. Food is ok. Had a salad, would not recommend it. My husband had a sandwich that looked great! Good beer and liquor selection. For downtown Tacoma this was not bad for a quick stop.
