I struggled to find a good place based on reviews and landed on Marlow's. I was dining by myself so I was given the option of the bar or a table/booth, that was nice and considerate. I chose the bar, it just felt like the better option. Bartender was quick to get my drink order and I had a Guinness. I was super pleased that she gave it the Guinness minute and didn't just hard poor from the draft system, A+. I settled on this restaurant because it's been a long time since I've had shrimp and grits, which they had on the menu. The wait time for the food was a bit lengthy, but you can't rush good

I ordered a pear manhattan. Was very delicious! ordered the atlantic salmon. Smelled fishy so ai was leary but did not taste fishy. I wonder if the sauce and craisins helped mask the flavor but let me tell you it was delicious! it was on a bed of couscous and spinach with pine nuts, craisins, and a sauce I have never had. the salmon had a nice crust of salt and pepper from the grill! ordered it medium and it was perfect! Juan, my server/bartender was very sweet and friendly!
