TLDR: Good food, disappointing service. My girlfriend and I came here for breakfast. The food was good and the atmosphere was calm, with only a couple of tables occupied at the time. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the setting. The waiter came across as unwelcoming and somewhat rude. When I asked for a recommendation between two options, he simply didn’t respond, which was quite off-putting. The payment experience was also frustrating. My card didn’t work with the “skip PIN” option, and I had to insist that he try the “with PIN” method before the payment finally went through. Even then

Cafe Eighty Two was wonderful! Even though they were very busy, the staff provided such warm and friendly customer service. Our food came out surprisingly fast, and they were able to accommodate us as a walk-up for indoor seating, which we really appreciated since it was starting to rain. They were also incredibly sweet to my son and told him to choose a dessert on the house. He was ecstatic! Such a thoughtful touch and a great experience overall. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit, and it was a good one. I got eh cheeseburger deluxe. The burger, fries, and onion rings were delicious. My sister ordered home fries, bacon and scrambles eggs. She said it was delicious as well. The place is small and tight, but the staff were nice. We didn’t have to wait and the food came out quickly, and it was hot.

Undeniably uninspiring. Was way too overpriced for what you get. The bagel with cream cheese and lox had only two pieces of lox for $20. The waffle was could be likened to a hotel waffle, and was undercooked. Service was attentive and responsive, although a little rude.
