It was nice. Better than ok, but not the best it could be. This place has so much potential, it just didn't completely mesh. Warm authentic welcoming and seating staff and servers are a must for a fine dining experience, but they were ok, overall. The deviled eggs were ok, the crab cakes were delicious, the calamari was a little too salty; but would've been very good without the extra salt, the steak was perfectlt made and delicious, the veggies were well seasoned but undercooked, and the potatoes hurt our feelings 😔. My son and daughter took me here for the second year in a row for my birthday. I love the ambience, staff is nice, not overwhelming friendly, decor is elegant, my dinner was excellent. I had the pasta with shrimp that was freshly cooked as ordered. I’m allergic to olive oil and they made the dish minus olive oil which was delicious! So their meals are not pre cooked ahead. For my day, they complemented me with a crème brûlée dessert with a candle. The cocktails were terrific. Our server was attentive and prompt. A very elegant place for romantic dates.
