I had a gift card from a friend so decided to try lunch at the Hunt Room. The Cavalier Hotel is spectacular and the Hunt Room does not disappoint! Prices are very reasonable. We tried the honey glazed Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and they were perfectly cooked, light and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. For lunch we ordered the French Dip sandwich and the Hunt Room Burger. Both with truffle parmesan fries. This was my first time dining at The Hunt Room inside the Cavalier, and given the reputation of the property and the amount of praise this restaurant receives online, I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype. To start with the positives, the appetizers were the strongest part of the meal. 1/10/26 - I went to Becca for brunch for my birthday, and we decided to check this place while at the hotel. I am so happy we did. Staff was super nice. Since we didn't have a reservation, we could have placed our name to get a table or sit at the couches that were first come first serve. We decided to sit on the couch in front of the fireplace. It was very nice and love the atmosphere of the place. Our server, Debbie, was so amazing. She really made the experience great.
