I had an espresso with a ceasar salad (something tells me that Ceasar probably didn't eat salad, but I digress) and it was very yummy. Wait staff are friendly and professional & the cafe is a great location for relaxing and people watching. I highly recommend Caffe La Scala if you are ever thirsty for a coffee in Walnut Creek, California.

I stopped by Caffè La Scala in Walnut Creek and had a really pleasant experience. We ordered coffee and asked a few questions about their menu—at one point we were almost tempted to order pizza for breakfast because it looked so good, but decided to save that for another visit. Whether you’re meeting friends or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, the setting really delivers. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart when it comes to service. The staff seemed inattentive and disorganized, and it took far longer than expected to get even basic items. It felt like customers were more of an afterthought than a priority. The barista checked three times on the size of cappuccino I want, as well as
