wow. we have yet to have a bad meal at mabu. this was our first time at brunch and we've had two excellent dinners before. we got the bananas fosters french toast and the pork katsu breakfast sandwich per our server alan's recommendations. wow!!! the food has always impressed us, the service is the best in the city and it's at such an affordable price. i recommend making a reservation a few days in advance but definitely recommend getting here soon. huge shout out to alan who made sure we were taken care of!!!

Welcoming, cozy, and delicious! We came here by chance because we found a last minute opening on Open Table, and we are so happy we did. Our server Joyce was patient, informed, and attentive. The food (potato leek soup, fresh bread, pork Milanese, and lamb shank) was all fresh with delightful tastes and texture. The intimate setup of the restaurant reminded me of my favorite restaurant in Paris. Would absolutely recommend.

They do love to put some form of egg on just about everything on the brunch menu. Everything was excellent. Must have a reservation. Caution: they do the “tip guide” based upon the entire price including tax and credit card fee. That’s fine if that’s your thing but it’s sketchy to me.
