Came here on a field trip, went in line with my teacher and got the same thing as her. Food was hot and ready, took like a nice 20 seconds to get my order, and the payment line wasn’t very long that day. Seating was very open and took no time to find a table. Chicken was crispy and not dry at all, Mac and cheese was so delicious it was the first thing I finished, collard greens were sweet and a little tangy. It was incredibly filling , probably the most delicious southern meal I’ve ever had, but wow 30 bucks is a lot for 2 pieces of chicken and 2 sides (I bought a bottle of sprite aswell). Ove

Incredible food! We got a recommendation from a friend to eat here and they were totally right! My favorite was the pulled pork and mac and cheese but my brother loved the buttermilk fried chicken so much he went back to buy more. WARNING, the portions are pretty big. Our family of 6 bought three big dishes with cornbread and mac and cheese as sides and still barely finished everything, so pick wisely!! There are a lot of dishes farther down the line so look around before you start buying food. Also the chocolate chip cookies and bread pudding are fabulous!!! All in all this place is amazing

The food wasn’t authentic Southern food to begin with, and it definitely didn’t taste like it was cooked by someone who knows how to season properly. Overall, this felt like fake Southern food and more like a money-hungry museum capitalizing off the South. Save your money don’t waste it here.
