Good place for a taste of Texas! The restaurant was well lit with a lot of natural light. Lots of room with lots of available tables and chairs. Seated almost immediately. Food was pretty good, although not crazy awesome for me personally. Broccoli and cheddar soup is souper good if you love cheese... I felt like it was almost literal chunks of broccoli in melted Velveeta, pretty thick. The same for the queso dip: it is very thick with a dollop of brisket and great with chips. In my opinion, the Texas Akaushi ribeye is not really worth the $50 it costs... at medium rare, it is VERY VERY juic

I ordered fried green tomatoes appetizer, New York strip steak, baked potato & salad. All was very good. The friend I was with said she always orders steak. This time she ordered sliced brisket. She said it had a lot of flavor & very tender. Also, she had never tried the fried green tomatoes before & was impressed by the flavor. The western cabin decor fit with the food. The facility appeared clean & staff was pleasant & helpful.

Amazing experience! Great service and a really nice atmosphere. The food was delicious — I ordered the chicken fried chicken with grits and asparagus, and my partner had the chopped brisket with barbecue sauce and some fried okra. We also got some onion rings, and the cornbread and regular rolls they serve were just perfect. Everything was flavorful and freshly made. We’ll definitely be coming back! 👏🍗🥩

Everything tasted wonderful. The Chicarones and homemade salsa were over the top good. This is the type of restaurant you can't wait to return to to try the rest of the menu. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Prices were what you would expect from a high quality meat featured dish.
