We had an amazing pastrami sandwich here!! Their sourdough bread is freshly made too. It was really cool to see the assembly line and bakers making all the breads at the bakery on the side. Highly highly recommend their sandwiches. There’s no seating so plan on taking to go!

Honestly, the food deserves so many stars, it makes the three star I-don’t-have-time-for-small-niceties-nor-basic-explanations service irrelevant. This place is dine-in ONLY IF the weather is nice enough to sit outside at a table they carelessly plopped down on the parkway. Again, who cares? I would eat PQB in a box, I would eat it with a fox, I would eat it here or there, I would eat it anywhere.

The rumors are true. They have the best sourdough in Chicago: crisp crust, light airy crumb, nice tang, phenomenal chew. The chocolate croissant was good but was missing the pastry's signature buttery richness.
