My friend guilted me into taking them to this restaurant due to the duck matzo ball soup and I’m so glad they did. Despite being more out of the way than traditional French Quarter or CBD eateries we were on a nice quiet part of magazine street which we were able to easily get to via bus (or Uber). First off, we were greeted by the adorable and super personable Allie- the hostess. Not only was she fashionable and professional she was so friendly and offered to let us charge our phones up while we dined as she knew we would need them to travel back after our meal. Heard about Saba while dining at a sister restaurant, Miss River. It was the perfect spot for us. We loved the beautiful and delicious mocktails, as well as the small plates. We were seeking a lighter dinner and Saba was the perfect choice. Definitely looking forward to returning for more!

Another excellent restaurant by 'local' chef and restauranteur, Alon Shaya. A uniquely crafted menu where every item is elegantly presented, with quite unique flavors for its simplicity. Great for lunch or dinner. Large covered outdoor seating and an equally large and comfortable room and bar inside. Good for a large group, which can be hard to find on Magazine.
