Came here after church with 4 others and struggled to find an indoor table. Tables are very limited and people are usually working on thier laptops inside due to the coolness and outlets. The anesthetic of this place is definitely a vibe if you're into the minimalist/ neutral tones/ organic look and the food looks very appetizing on the plate. They can make pretty much anything on the menu vegan which is helpful if you are fasting or with others that do not eat certain foods. The meals are customizable. The food and drinks are always delicious. They have pistachio milk as a nondairy milk option which is great!! Staff is always friendly. They have some of my favorite matcha. This is a blueberry lavender in the photo! It comes out layered and so pretty—the photo doesn’t do it justice. Kid friendly, they have outdoor seating that easily accommodates a stroller. Love everything about New General! The food is always so clean, perfectly delicious and presentation is over the top! Loads of healthy choices... almost ALL! My partner and I checked out the New General Cafe with a group of friends, and we had a wonderful experience! The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful, and I love the vibe. ​The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable—they gave excellent recommendations when we weren't sure what to order, and they were so sweet and patient with our six-year-old. Everything we ate was fresh and perfectly balanced. The coffee is outstanding, and they have a really cool selection of unique add-ins. I highly recommend trying the blueberry lavender espresso latte. We will definitely be back!
