Absolutely incredible experience at Clara’s Italian restaurant! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The homemade pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, the meatballs were rich and flavorful, and the pesto chicken was simply outstanding. We started with the fried calamari and shrimp—both were crispy, light, and delicious. The pasta fagioli was hearty and comforting, while the creamy mushroom soup was smooth and full of flavor. Chicken Parm had some great mozzarella cheese and a nice tangy marinara sauce. Sausage and pepper appetizer was also tasty. Very good portions for the price. Huge Caesar salad with salmon was also very good.

I had a cranberry mocktail and the chicken pesto pasta with angel hair, both were very good. The sauce was flavorful. I shared the tiramisu with my friend, they even cut it in half and served it on different plates for us which I thought was a nice touch. The only thing I did not like was the artichoke potato soup, it was pureed but the artichoke heart strings I had to keep spitting out. Our waitress, Megan was great and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. The staff was very attentive in the bathrooms were clean.

We were there for dinner early Saturday evening (about 5:30) pm. The cocktails were excellent--though I'd use a different glass for bellinis--and the calamari appetizer was done perfectly. I had a choose-your-own pasta dish with gluten-free penne; it was excellent. My host had vegetarian lasagna, also delicious. We both needed take-home boxes. We share a slice of flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Our server, Moises, was fully attentive. We were seated at a 4-top in a relatively open and busy part of the floor, so Clara's isn't what I'd call 'intimate.' The check seemed a bit high for two p
