I’m very picky about my espresso, which is why I decided to come here. I ordered a double espresso because they seem to have one of the best coffee machines, so I expected a high-quality coffee experience. Unfortunately, the espresso was horrible. Honestly, it was one of the worst espressos I’ve ever had. I’ve never tasted an espresso this bad before. On the positive side, the food was good. I ordered a cherry Danish and really enjoyed it. A Cozy, Longtime Neighborhood Staple on Skillman Ave! Skillman Avenue has a lot of great spots, but Aubergine Cafe stands out as a true neighborhood anchor. It has that classic, cozy European-style cafe charm that makes you want to slow down, grab a table, and hang out for a while. Aubergine is a true neighborhood staple. I probably stop in at least once a week — and that’s only because I don’t drink coffee and try not to go too crazy on carbs. Fantastic staff, great energy, plenty of seating inside and outside, and consistently yummy food. The Black Forest ham panini is one of my favorites. They’ve also got solid vegan options and the baked goods are seriously awesome. Places like this make a neighborhood feel like home. #AirSwings

Pretty decent. I wish I didn't get the Tuscan Chicken, it's just plain grilled chicken with no flavor. Had to add a ton of Tapatio to enhance it. I really want to like this place and the quality is there, nice ambience but, missing that "wow" factor in the flavor of the meals.
