We had an amazing dining experience at this tavern in Yerevan! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. We tried the lamb kebab, chicken kebab, pork tenderloin, smashed potatoes, freshly baked bread, summer salad, yogurt with cucumber (similar to tzatziki and incredibly delicious), and the traditional khinkali. Every dish was full of flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection. The meats were tender and juicy, the side dishes complemented the meal beautifully, and the khinkali was a fantastic way to experience traditional local cuisine. The portions were generous, and the quality exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional—and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Armenia, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yerevan.

Wow. The best meal I’ve had this year. The place was bustling upon entry, with barely a table sat empty for a minute before it was reseated. The service was friendly and efficient. Short wait time for food & drink although the staff had many tables on their hands. The lamb dolma was fantastic! Paired with whatever sauce that accompanied it. I honestly thought it would be tough to beat. However the beef stew I had next (can’t remember the name of the dish) - unbelievable. I was full halfway through the meal but it was too good to waste so I had to push through. I did not have a full meal for roughly the next 24 hours. Really great place. 👍

The dishes we ordered were extremely oily—versions we had previously eaten that were much higher in quality and healthier. Although the restaurant is considered expensive, the quality of the ingredients was poor, and the food was more greasy than tasty. On the day we visited (noon on April 16), a man from the staff took our order. His harsh attitude and irritation toward our child’s normal behavior—for example, when our child dropped the menu once, he picked it up with clear annoyance and took it away—made the already bad-tasting food even more unpleasant. We do not recommend this restaurant at all.

We ordered a lot of dishes, majority was not eatable (some soups, smashed potatoes, khachapuri etc.) We asked for chili (sauce/flakes/fresh), they ignored it many times. They made things up in the end calculation (caramel sauce?!) and when we mentioned it they argued back with us instead of removing it from the bill. The waiter also gossiped about me with other waiters ans it was very unpleasant.

From the moment you enter you feel welcome with friendly and polite staff. The decor is very nice and authentic and everything including the toilets spotlessly clean. The food was outstanding and tasty ... we ordered the pickle mix, meat pancakes, veal in chilli and other bits and pieces ... all excellent. Highly recommended.
