This resturant is beyond amazing, the food is so unique and you can taste the craftsmanship and passion behind the creations. As a Vegetarian I find the menu mouth watering and love the flavours in each and every dish. To add to the amazing food creations the service is impeccable and something that you just don’t see anymore. As someone who lives out of state I make sure I come here each time I am in SA. We dined at Aurora selecting the 5 course menu for 130pp. Atmosphere was calm, easy to talk and well presented. The restaurants have down lights directly over tables which is a bit annoying and not very flattering when sitting under them. Service was excellent, pace of food coming out and table attentiveness. The food itself was well presented, showcases excellent technique, all elements well executed. However I wonder if anyone has eaten a full course and all together or just tasted each dish individually. Each dish (with exception of the wagyu) had single dimension flavours which on tasting

We dined at Aurora and chose the 5-course degustation menu, taking advantage of the RAA special deal that included matched drinks for free valued at $75 per person (it’s better to be a member!!:) From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Each course offered a beautiful abundance of flavours, with thoughtful pairings that enhanced the whole meal. The portions were generous too—often a rarity with degustation menus—so we definitely didn’t leave hungry (no post-dinner Maccas run required!). We had our monthly anniversary dinner here last night and had an amazing experience. We have been to many establishments and this place is definitely up there in the top few. The food was thoughtfully curated and balance of flavour was perfect. The ambience was just nice, semi fine dining semi casual and relaxed. And to top it off, the highlight of the night was our waiter Aaron who was exceptional in every sense ! 6 stars for Aaron. Will definitely be back.
