It was a busy night in the city after a football match so we were happy that the friendly team here could accommodate us especially when so many other restaurants on Gouger are booking only atm. The good is good and relatively inexpensive, my favourite dish was the fried rice albeit it coming out last. Overall, nice dining experience and good value

On the positive side, the service was fast and efficient. On the negative side, the food is just not authentic Chinese. Cantonese pork listed on the menu was served up with sweet and sour sauce. The sizzling pepper beef had a sort of creamy cheese sauce over it, kind of like creamy pasta sauce. The spring rolls, listed as 4 pieces, were 2 rolls cut in half. Portion sizes for the price were on the smaller side. Honestly disappointed considering the ratings. No table water, paid for tea.

East Taste Cafe is one of the hidden gems of Adelaide. Have been coming here since 7 years now. Amazing always. This time, had the pleasure of meeting Nam, he was simply great. Checked everything and provided a great experience. Food as usually was yummy. Will be back again.
