I have visited McDonald's - Bendigo several times, and every experience has been excellent. The restaurant is always clean, welcoming, and well organised, which makes it comfortable to dine in. I ordered what should have been a pretty straightforward meal. A quarter pounder, no pickle in a medium mail meal with a soft serve cone. The burger and chips sat on the counter for some time waiting for someone to get the soft serve, cone, which sceneed okay long and drawn out task. While they offered to remake the burger i waited long enough, so took the one that was there. What a mistake, to my surprise, the quarter pounder was smothered in pepper. I’m beyond frustrated with McDonald's Bendigo and their completely misleading “24/7” advertising. If you’re going to promote yourselves as open 24 hours a day, then that needs to be consistently true — not selectively convenient. I’ve now turned up on multiple occasions during late hours, relying on the expectation that you’re open, only to find the store closed for “maintenance.” Once is understandable. Repeatedly? That’s not maintenance — that’s misrepresentation. At this point, the “24/7” label feels more like a marketing tactic than a genuine service commitment. Customers plan around that

Really crap standards here - nothing restocked, messy tables, filthy tables and screens. Also saw manager and other boh employees not wearing hairnets. Not sure if it’s company policy to wear one but not great to see.
