The staff were really nice, but the food was lower quality than I was expecting for the price. The seafood in the marinara unfortunately didn’t taste very fresh, closer to a cheap takeaway taste than a gourmet experience (although they were happy to load it up with parmesan!). I wonder if it was just a bad day, as the food was decent but I was really craving something to make me say “Wow!” Portions are good, and I’d like to try other items next time as they have good reviews and I’d like to give them another go some day!

But what really made the experience special was the owner’s kind and respectful attitude. He was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made us feel really comfortable and happy to be there. Staff were nice. Heard good things online, however, I have never seen a more lackluster woodfire pizza in my life. The pizza tasted like wet cardboard, and honestly the owners should feel a little ashamed with what they are serving up. Clearly, they do not care about they are producing anymore. From the moment we met Russ, we knew we had picked the right caterer for our wedding. Our first meeting was for our scheduled tasting at the Bellingham Farmer’s Market. When we arrived, Russ invited us to sit down and try 2 different types of pizza. He also let us sample a new appetizer he was working on. The food was incredible!
