The coffee here is perfect every time. Nutty, hints of caramel, velvety smooth. Great protein balls too. After Rollin with ma homies at Caza Jujitsu Caloundra, I pop my name down for a boss haircut at Hammerhead Barbers across the road and grab a quick caffeine fix before I lose the locks. Perfect way to crack the Saturday morning tasks.

I reckon it takes a bit of guts to go into the very crowded Caloundra coffee scene. I take my hat off to the Slide crew for bringing their subtle yet bold venture to town because honestly most of the cafes are too food focused, thusly, the coffee may suck. Haha. Slide make exceptional coffee. One sip and you’re tasting a beautifully clean coffee machine ( something lacking in other joints), then you get the perfect silky milk, right on temperature point and extracted to maximise the acidity and sweetness of their bean. Amazing spot, hidden gem to me - yet centrally located. On here on holiday from Korea and couldn't be happier locating this gem. Staff are amazing, offer refreshing still/sparkling water with coffee, locally roasted blends of beans... friendly convos to keep you in the happy chill coastal vibe. Open seating to enjoy the rays....oh and the coffee. Yep! Best I had on my whole trip. Came here at least half a dozen times. Fantastic! A must visit for coffee in caloundra and worth an extra trip if on the sunshine coast as well.
