It was overhyped tbh. Pretty mid experience. The wait was expected because it was lunch time on a weekend but the service was horrible, we didn't feel welcome at all and pretty hostile. There was no convo or small talk, the drinking glass was all scracthed up and foggy, with the price we would expect a good drinking glass. We had an avocado pretzel 🥑🥨 platter and udon carbonara 🍜 with a coffee ☕️ . The highlight of the avocado pretzel platter is the halloumi cheese 🧀 infused with thyme and honey 🍯. Absolutely loved Higher Ground Café. The ambiance is stunning—beautifully designed with high ceilings and a warm, inviting feel that makes it stand out straight away. Service was exceptional throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very professional, making the whole experience seamless. The food was also very high quality—well presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with great ingredients. Overall, a fantastic spot that delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended.
